Today at the beach I had such a fabulous, relaxing time following the boys’ lead in play and exploration.
The tide was way out so we started digging pools and laying in the warm water. Then as we were laying we noticed lots of pretty tiny little snails inside shells. So we started looking for more and collecting them.
The best part was all the silly chit chat, singing and laughter as we lazily lounged in the warm water collecting snails.
We layed on our bellies watching them inch their way along making beautiful patterns in the wet sand.
Happy, happy memories today, that I would have missed if I didn’t just relax and follow my children.
They lead me to joy.
